I started this painting last summer and worked on it yesterday in the studio. It was a rainy day in Whitstable, England, an active fishing port and weekend resort for Londoner day trippers.
I think my original comment didn't get posted, operator error. I love the painting, and the fact that it feels like England. Where is this fishing village, I'd love to visit it next time I am across the pond.
